We had Father's Day dinner at our house this year. We had chicken wings and tenders, rice, salad, fruit and cookie ice-cream sundaes for dessert. We played some Scum too. Overall it was a fun night!!

This is my dad. I thought I'd share a few tidbits about him since we recently celebrated Father's Day. He is definitely a "if it's not broke, don't fix it" kind of guy. For most that would work but you see he has chosen to reside with my mom who, to say the least, is always looking for something to change or update. That's where his easy going attitude comes in, for he just does the things that make my mom happy even though he sees no sense in it. He's also a "pull my finger" prankster. We can't go anywhere to eat w/o the cheesy waitress jokes. He still won't get popcorn at the movie theatre because once I asked him why he bought a medium size when we could have gotten a large with a free refill and shared it. "Can't a grown man have his own popcorn" it's a joke now but jeez, it seemed sensible then. Anyway he's a great dad who had to endure having four daughters and finally got a son when they adopted my cousin Robert. He's always worked hard and sacrificed for his family. Now he's a grandpa and enjoying his grand kids(preferably in small doses, right?)
