Tying the Knot

9-10-11
A day of celebration.
My brother Robert tied the knot with his love Chelsea.

They were married in the temple that morning. What a joy to be there. The kids waited patiently to see them walk through the doors- now as husband and wife.

The reception was held later that day in my sister's backyard. We worked hard the night before to set everything up and then put the final touches on it that day. We prayed for no rain, and though the gray clouds threatened to release their fury, our prayers were answered.

Since their initials are R and C we thought it would be clever to have some RC cola there...

What a fabulous party! Love the ties and skirts too. Where did you get them, or who made them for you? My little bro is getting married in the spring, and would love some helpful info =).

Jen,

We just bought the fabric and my aunt made the ties and a friend of my sister made the skirts. We also made square tablecovers for the tables. It was fun to decorate, we all just brought ols vintage stuff we had. We served the desserts off of antique buffets and tables. I thought it turned out quite cute!! BTW I sent you my email but i'm locked out of your blog so it's cornontherobb@hotmail.com

Sorry, about my blog. I'm sending an invite now. I loved the wedding decor/attire, and those owl cupcakes are too cute!
