L.A. ALL DAY

September 2016

If you've never been to the L.A. County Fair you are really missing out. They literally have everything! A whole carnival of rides, animals-literally a zoo in one section and a bunch of cows and farm animals in another, games that take all of your money but are fun to play, and food- lots and lots of it. Luckily we found some discount tickets at Costco that included entry and ride tickets so the initial cost was pretty decent. We wandered all day and night and still missed half of the attractions. It was a little hot but it wasn't too busy so it was bearable. We will definitely go back again and try to hit more things. Jace won the girls some stuffed animals and they made a fun video of their day. We also stopped at the Hello Kitty Cafe in Irvine- it was just too cute to pass up! Overall for a quick trip it was pretty fun!

COLDPLAY

Guess who won tickets to Coldplay? All of us! Sure we were kinda in the nosebleeds but it was a great concert and its always better when it's free! Lauren and Sydney pulled the vertigo card and said their seats made them dizzy and they were reticketed to much better seats in the handicap section. Haha! Guess it worked! The upper level at T-Mobile Arena is very steep though and the seats in front of you are too low to lean against so it does feel like you could loose your balance and fall right over. It was a fun night and Coldplay did not disappoint!

Bite of Las Vegas

Every year Mix 94.1 puts on an outdoor concert with food trucks. There were some good bands playing this year so we went. I ran into Kevin Griffin- the lead singer of Better Than Ezra and got a quick pic. Fitz and the Tantrums also played and we were quite close for that one. They all put on a great show and we had some great food. Lauren and Brooke came with us too and they got a pic with JC from 94.1. Fun night!!

Back to School 2016-2017

August 2016

Another year of high school begins........

Jace is a sophomore this year and decided to try his hand at playing tennis. 

Lauren is a SENIOR!!

Last year of high school..... then real life begins!! 

Lauren and Sydney had their senior photos taken for the yearbook about a week before school started. Can't believe how quickly time has flown by- seems like it was just last month we were prying her little fingers from the chain link fence of the kindergarten playground to go class on her first day.

 AUGUST 2016

A quick girls get away to Balboa Beach with Liz, Sydney, Lauren, and me. Relaxing on the beach, shopping, and no accountability. Sydney got attacked by a pigeon at the frozen banana stand- the pigeon won! Guess it really wanted that frozen banana!! We flipped a U-turn when I spied a pop up John Galt store (Brandy Melville) and the girls were in shopping heaven. Of course Lauren suffered a minor sunburn, that lily white skin can't handle too much sun! It was a fun trip and happy we got to spend some time together!
