Bang Bang

So Lauren got bangs. I warned her that everyone who get bangs either loves them (5%) or vows to never have them again (95%). Though even if you swear off bangs there's going to come a day when you're sitting in the stylist's chair and you're feeling all brave and are really wanting a change that you will say "just go for it, cut me some bangs!" Then you'll wake up the next day and cry and spend the longest six months of your life growing them back out. Well Lauren was warned but insisted. You can never appreciate not having bangs until you actually have them. Now I'm not saying Lauren didn't look good with the bangs cause they were cute, but she started growing them out the moment they were cut. The rest is bang history and now she has been there and is wise in the knowledge of bangs.

Holiday Havoc & LVP Party 2016

Holiday Havoc

We went to Holiday Havoc at the Pearl in the Palms Hotel & Casino. The lineup included The Moth & the Flame, The Naked and Famous, Saint Motel, and the headliner Weezer. It was a great night, all of the bands were good. It was my first time seeing Weezer and they did not disappoint- every song is so catchy!! After the concert we lurked around the casino for a bit and I came across A/J from Saint Motel and got a quick pic with him. Of course Morrissey was representing on the wall so I had to snap a quick pic with him as well!

Dapper Disney 2016

                   Typically you pack your cutest comfy clothes for a trip to Disneyland but once in awhile it's fun to elevate your style and go all in for Dapper Day. We had 3 days to enjoy all of the magic of Disneyland and California Adventure. On one of those days we got dressed up and participated in Dapper Day at Disneyland. It is so fun to see everyone dressed up in vintage or retro outfits, many inspired by Disney characters. Lauren and Jace went with a Donald Duck inspired theme while Jason and I kept it simple. We invited my parents along and they joined in the fun as well. We took a lot of pictures and had a great time riding rides and admiring other park goers outfits.
