Labor Day Weekend 2014

....and we are back. Selling the cabin couldn't keep us away from the darling little town of Cedar City. The annual Iron County Fair was in full swing- we wandered through the abnormally large veggies, grandma's homemade quilts, drank some sarsaparilla, and braved the carnies. Lauren brought along her friend Brooke and they risked their lives and limbs on some of the scarier rides like Graviton. Jace and I got squished and dizzy, then Jason and Jace risked a plastic burn on the Fun Slide. We also enjoyed the great outdoors on the university lawn while being entertained at the Shakespearean Green Show. On our downtime we sat on Grandpa Robb's front lawn and observed the passerbyers and shot the breeze. Minty and the kids came up and they, along with G & G Robb, joined us for a stroll around the neighborhood. When all the fun and relaxing was over we headed back to Vegas, but not before some serious construction back ups on the I-15. We were so slow at one point that the girls got out and walked along in the emergency lane! In the end it took much longer but we made it home safe and sound.
