IN AUGUST......

.....my grandma, Ella Mae, celebrated her 83rd birthday. We had dinner and she told us a lot of stories about her younger years.

.....my mom put on a fancy tea party for all of the granddaughters. She got them all cute little clip on hats, served finger sandwiches, and bite size treats. 

.....Jason and I went to Wet n Wild by ourselves- kids didn't want to go, but we had tons of fun without them!! 

..... the summer fun and laziness drew to a close. Back to school time!!

Jace actually let me take a picture before school. He starts 8th grade this year- last year of middle school!

Lauren refused to let me take a photo so I snuck this was while she was perusing her phone and enjoying an after school snack. She had to wear the "ask me" shirt for Student Council and apparently got asked some crazy stuff! You can't see it very good in this pic but she got a lavender hue put in her hair for back to school- too bad it washed out too quickly.....
