In 1953 two special people were born. One on October 21st and the other on November 8th. One on the east coast and the other in the west. Yet somehow they met, married, and had a family consisting of four lovely girls. This year they became sixty one and so we celebrated. My mom is the older woman in this relationship and I'm sure on certain monumental birthdays that two weeks can be brutal!! For her birthday, us four girls took her downtown to LeThai for lunch. Afterwards, we hit up O Face Donuts to satisfy the ol' sweet tooth that we all inherited. Her gift? Well she wanted a bike. Ask and ye shall receive...... now let's see if she actually rides it!!HaHa!
My dad, well he loves Jerry's Nugget so we ('we' included the grandkids-he got the raw end of the deal) all met up for a fantastic dinner. Well dinner was actually just ok, my favorite part- DESSERT! They have some seriously good stuff there(that sweet gene again). We had a great time and I'm pretty sure he had a great birthday!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
