If this is Scout camp sign me up!!
Jace and his fellow scouts enjoyed a long weekend at "Scout Camp" in San Diego. I use the term scout camp loosely because from the pictures Jason sent me (he went as a leader) they sure had a bucket full of fun! They camped on the beach at the base Camp Pendleton. There they swam, pillaged for unsuspecting marine life in the tide pools and rocks, and relaxed (see leader pic). The "camping" continued to Petco Park in downtown San Diego for a Major League Baseball game. The Dodgers vs. the Padres- Dodgers won. Finally they roughed it to the Mormon Battalion where they got a quick history lesson and panned for gold. Poor things must have been worn out at this point. It wasn't over though, a hike through Old Town and a Mexican dinner nearly finished them off. Luckily they all survived and brought home some great memories of scout camp.
