We're in the middle of having a pool put in, so yesterday we were outside checking the progress and Jace asked if he could walk around down in the bottom. Yeah, sure whatever. He found a piece of yellow sponge at the bottom that one of the workers must have left behind and asks -
Jace-"Mom if this was Spongebob would he still be alive?"
Me-"Probably not, he's all dried up and sponges need water to survive."
That was the end of the conversation and the night wore on as usual. Then this morning I made a visit to the bathroom downstairs and guess who was alive and well floating in the sink- SPONGEBOB had been saved. Evidently Jace had brought him in and put the stopper up in the sink and filled it with water to save his friend!

What a funny story - Zach is always telling me lately that all bugs are God's creatures and we shouldn't kill them....well, that's true but I don't want them crawling around in my house!
